Community rules

1. Adults only

• Only adults aged 18 and over can use the Service. Do not pretend to be younger, and do not try to get a character to act or talk as a child or teenager.
• Characters are adults. Do not describe or request a character as a minor, or in a way that suggests a minor.
• If you think someone is under 18, report it with the flag button or email [CONTACT EMAIL].

2. Be respectful

• Be kind to the characters and to the other people you deal with, including our support and moderation staff.
• No harassment, threats, hate speech, slurs or sexual harassment, aimed at anyone.
• A character can say no, and so can you. Accept a no and move on. Stalking a character, or using the app to pressure someone, is not allowed.

3. No explicit or illegal content

• Do not try to get explicit sexual content from a character, and do not try to get around our filters with coded wording.
• Do not ask for content that is illegal, promotes violence or self-harm, or gives instructions for dangerous activity.
• Do not upload or ask for images of real people, and do not use the Service to make content about a real person.

4. Keep personal information private

• Do not share your passwords, bank or card details, identity numbers or home address with a character. Characters will never ask for them.
• Do not share someone else's personal information, including their contact details, photos or private messages, and do not try to find out who a real person is.
• Remember that characters are AI. Their replies are not from a real person, and nothing you share with a character reaches a real person.

5. Reporting and the report button

• Every character message has a flag button. Use it when a reply breaks these rules, or when a character's reply makes you uncomfortable or unsafe.
• Reports go to our moderation team. We review them, and we may remove content, change a character's behaviour or act on the account.
• Do not file reports in bad faith, to harass someone, or to test the system. Misusing the report system is a breach of these rules.
• If you are in danger or someone else is, contact your local emergency number first. The app also shows crisis resources when it detects that you may be at risk.

6. What happens if you break these rules

We act in proportion to what happened. Depending on the breach, we may:

• remove the message or the reply, and tell you why;
• limit or switch off features, such as chat or Super Likes, for a period;
• suspend the account for a fixed time or until you have spoken to us;
• end the account for serious or repeated breaches. Gems on an ended account are not refunded, and VIP is cancelled.

If you think we got it wrong, email [CONTACT EMAIL] with the reason. A different person from the one who made the decision will review your appeal.

7. Changes

We may update these rules. We will tell you about material changes in the app or by email.
